Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She made her screen debut through Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for the Best actress. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is a theater professor at one of Romania's highest-rated acting schools. The Mangalia Gala, which is a celebration of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. In 2008, she was recognized as an 'Eastern Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. In addition to her outstanding performance in her debut film, she is recognized for her performance in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 weeks as well as 2 Days which won her numerous awards, including an award from the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She starred as a Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and saptamani si 2 zile (four months three weeks and two days) that was awarded with the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film that she was in. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in the BBC five-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular on Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she was Irma's German grandmother in Fury the film, which came out in the year 2014.
